How Bankers Can Start the Sustainability Conversation with SMEs (VBIAF × CCPT in Action 3)

In my last post, we cleared the air around VBIAF and CCPT- separating myths from meaning. Now comes the real test: how do we turn frameworks into conversations?

Because sustainability isn’t built in spreadsheets or taxonomy tables. It starts with a simple, curious question — asked by a banker who cares enough to listen.

Refer to Slide

From Framework to Relationship - when bankers ask the right questions, sustainability becomes less about compliance and more about confidence. VBIAF gives the why, CCPT gives the how, and together they turn an RM–SME discussion into a shared journey toward resilience.

In my next post, I’ll share “Inside the Credit Room- How VBIAF & CCPT Strengthen Risk and Opportunity Assessment” - connecting sustainability conversations to tangible credit decisions.
